In order to obtain a 'Startup' certificate, 9 more applications from SMEs have been submitted to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA). The applications were reviewed at the next meeting of the Expert Council, and a decision was made to grant the 'Startup' certificate to 7 of them. As a result, the number of SMEs with a 'Startup' certificate has reached 206
'Startup' certificates have been granted for the following projects: "Aprimus" LLC's platform for the registration, monitoring, and analysis of medical services, "Nomadman Studio" LLC's computer game production, "Poolin Insurtech" LLC's online platform for insurtech insurance solutions, "Remart Digital Solutions" LLC's online sales and business process management platform for residential complexes, "Novalingua" LLC's AI-based online platform for teaching and assessing foreign languages, "Tokaz" LLC's mobile application for managing charging stations for electric vehicles, and the project of individual entrepreneur Bahruz Gadirov's online platform for presenting author ideas and projects to investors.
The 'Startup' certificate exempts SMEs from profit or income tax on the revenues generated from innovative activities for a period of 3 years, starting from the date they receive the certificate.
Micro and small entrepreneurial entities at the development stage of their projects can apply for the 'Startup' certificate to the KOBIA.
