A meeting was held between KOBİA and Sumgait State University 06.04.24

At the meeting, the opportunities for the expansion of cooperation between the Agency and the University were discussed.

The employees of the Small and Middle Business Development Agency (KOBİA) met with students and teaching staff of the Sumgait State University.

The meeting attendees were informed of the activities of KOBİA, its support, and services, especially the "Startup "certificate which the youth are enthusiastic about, the Startup Development Centre under "Baku SMB House", and grant support for financing education, scientific, research and support projects. The opinions on opportunities for cooperation with the University, promotion of entrepreneurial activity among the youth, development of business abilities of students, their involvement in business training organized by KOBİA and providing mentoring support, and organization of meetings between successful businessmen and students were shared at the meeting.

Also as part of the meeting questions of students who have an interest in entrepreneurial activity, teachers who teach occupations such as business management administration and management were addressed .

Note that the project of the student of the Sumgait State University on the organization of psychologist service was awarded the "Startup Certificate" in 2022 by KOBİA.
