A discussion was held during the event on the opportunities and challenges for business and investment in the Hajigabul district, and the proposals of entrepreneurs were heard.
The meeting with entrepreneurs operating in the district was organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) with the support of the Hajigabul District Executive Authority.
The event brought together nearly 90 entrepreneurs engaged in agriculture, livestock breeding, and other sectors, as well as representatives of the relevant government institutions.
The Head of the Hajigabul District Executive Authority, Mr. Sevindik Hatamov, and the Chairman of the Board of KOBIA, Mr. Orkhan Mammadov, provided information on the district’s potential, business opportunities, and state support mechanisms. It was noted that Hajigabul district has broad capabilities in agriculture, industry, and transport-logistics. Grain-growing, vegetable production, and livestock farming are among the main directions of agriculture in the region. The international highways and railway lines passing through Hajigabul enhance its significance as a logistics hub.
The industrial park located in the district contributes not only to the development of the non-oil sector and the establishment of competitive industrial enterprises based on modern technologies, as well as to increasing employment in the production sphere, but also supports the overall growth of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs wishing to establish or expand their businesses in Hajigabul may benefit from the support mechanisms offered by KOBIA by taking advantage of these opportunities.
During the meeting, issues such as the change of land designation, granting of construction permits, state concessional loans, support for establishing livestock farms, documentation for public catering facilities, and other matters were discussed. The needs and proposals of entrepreneurs were heard, and their questions were answered.
As part of the visit to Hajigabul district, KOBIA representatives also visited a confectionery production workshop. During the acquaintance with this small business entity, an exchange of views was held on the available state support instruments to help the woman entrepreneur realize her future business plans.
