The seminar offered insights into the significance of green development for SMBs, guidance on crafting a green transition strategy, methods for environmental risk management, integration of climate considerations into investment decisions, and highlighted exemplary practices.

With the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the seminar was conducted at the Baku SMB House, focusing on the transition of SMBs into a "green economy" and "green finance".

The event garnered attendance from over 20 representatives spanning public and private sectors, including financial institutions with a focus on the SMB sector.

During the seminar, the national and international experts from the Asian Development Bank provided information on the importance of green development for SMBs, preparation of green transition strategies, environmental risk management, integration of climate change issues into investment decisions, presented best practices and replied the questions addressed by participants.

It's important to highlight that the seminar was organized with the objective of enhancing the capacity of stakeholders within the SMB sector, aligning with the theme of the "The Year of Solidarity of the Green World" as proclaimed in our country, and on the eve of the COP29 event to be held in Baku.
