Entrepreneurs were informed about the rules for connecting to the electrical grid and the procedures for inspection and technical maintenance in the field of gas supply.
An educational seminar was held within the framework of the “Entrepreneurs’ Hour” project, jointly organized by the Energy Regulatory Agency (EMTA) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA). The event was attended by contractors operating in the fields of electricity and gas supply, as well as representatives of the “Azeriqaz” Production Union.
At the event held at the Baku SME House, Elmar Isayev, Head of the Secretariat of KOBIA, and Malik Muradzada, Acting Director of a Department at EMTA, emphasized the importance of organizing joint seminars and roundtable meetings with various institutions to raise awareness among entrepreneurs. It was underlined that such events are beneficial in terms of informing entrepreneurs about ongoing work in relevant sectors, legislative requirements, and promoting cooperation between state institutions and the business community.
Later, EMTA representatives Vugar Hashimov and Agharza Aliyev delivered presentations on the services provided by the Agency, the rules for connecting to the electrical grid, the implementation of inspections and technical maintenance in the field of gas supply, and the issuance of qualification certificates.
At the end of the event, questions of interest to entrepreneurs were answered, and discussions were held around the presented topics.
