A webinar held for entrepreneurs wishing to obtain a “Startup certificate”

On October 26, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) arranged an information webinar for business entities wishing to obtain a “Startup” certificate.

At the online event, attended by startups and SMBs, advisor to the chairman of the SMBDA Board Zaur Gardashov, and the Agency’s employee Humbat Abdullayev spoke about the “Startup” certificate, its advantages, the application procedure, and documentation. It has been noted that micro and small entrepreneurs wishing to obtain a “Startup” certificate, which exempts SMBs from income tax and tax on income from innovation activity for 3 years, can apply to the Agency directly or electronically.

The event also provided detailed information on EY's “Entrepreneur of the Year” competition, held in partnership with SMBDA, and demonstrated a video about the program.

At the end of the webinar, SMBs' and startups’ questions were answered.
