Acceptance of documents for the grant competition is underway

Acceptance of documents for the competition announced for funding micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs’  scientific and support projects ends at 18:00 on December 14. The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) informs SMBs wishing to submit their projects in the relevant areas to the competition that they may apply to the Agency until the date specified.

 

SMBs can provide documents required for participation in the competition to the Agency electronically (info@smb.gov.az) or directly (134, Ataturk Avenue, AZ1069, Baku).

 

Note that according to the Rules approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 30, 2020, legal entities and individuals engaged in micro, small, and medium business can participate in the competition. Each person can submit only 1 project for the competition. The project implementation term should be within 3-12 months Each project will be funded for a maximum of AZN 20,000. 

 

SMBs wishing to participate in the competition can find the appropriate application and project and budget justification forms on the Agency's website (https://bit.ly/3C8XQEm), and for detailed information, call (012) 404 04 01 and Call Center 131. SMBs can take advantage of the free support and services of the Agency's SMB development centers in the preparation of documents for the competition. Projects will be assessed based on their impact on the SMB development, innovativeness, the presence of a sound idea, the possibility of application for practical purposes, the availability of appropriate material and technical base to implement the project, and other similar factors.

 

The competition results will be posted on the SMBDA’s official website www.smb.gov.az after February 10, 2022.
