Accepting documents for the competition continues

On March 18, accepting documents for participation in the competition announced in connection with Education, Science, Research, and Support projects of micro, small and medium businesses comes to an end. The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) notifies that SMBs wishing to submit projects in the appropriate fields to the competition can provide them to the Agency within the period specified.

 

SMBs can provide the relevant documents for participation in the competition to the Agency electronically (info@smb.gov.az) or directly (AZ1069, Baku city, Ataturk Avenue, 134). The maximum funding for each project is AZN 20,000.

 

For information, according to the Guidelines approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan dated September 30, 2020, legal entities and individuals belonging to micro, small, and medium enterprises can participate in the competition. Each person can submit only 1 project for the competition. The project implementation period shall be at least 3 and no more than 12 months.

 

SMBs willing to participate in the competition can obtain the relevant documents (exemplary Application Form, Project Submission, and Budget Justification) on the Agency's website (https://bit.ly/3oZx4HZ), and detailed information - through the Call Center (012) 404 04 01 or 131. To prepare documents for participation in the competition, SMBs can use the free support and services of the Agency's SMB Development Centers. The competition results will be posted on the official SMBDA website www.smb.gov.az after April 19, 2021. The projects submitted for the competition shall be estimated based on their impact on the development of micro, small and medium businesses, innovation, the sound idea, the possibility of practical use, and other factors.
