The “Karabakh SME” project, implemented for already 4 years with the organisational support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and “Inkişaf Korporasiyası” СJSC, with the financial support of “Paşa Holdinq”, is also continuing this year.

The purpose of the project is to provide support for the development of entrepreneurial skills of family members of martyrs, war veterans or their family members, improvement of their material and social welfare, creation of new businesses and jobs in the areas where they live.

Within the framework of the project, additional 55 participants selected from the cities of Baku and Ganja, Absheron, Shamkir and Fuzuli districts were engaged in the training process.

Functional training courses were organised for participants on human resources and financial management, sales, preparation of a business plan, marketing, social media marketing and starting a business. Afterwards, selected persons will be engaged in vocational training.

At the next stage, participants will be engaged in the self-employment programme of the State Employment Agency. It is planned to provide them with relevant equipment according to the business plans submitted by them, and also to create small and medium business entities.
