An exhibition showcasing products and services from over 150 domestic companies is currently underway. 24.06.24

The aim of the exhibition is to promote the activities of Azerbaijani companies among the general public, open up new markets for them, expand sales opportunities, and foster cooperation between companies.

On June 24, the "5th Advertising Exhibition of Local Companies" launched at the Baku Expo Center, jointly organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and Marsol Group.

The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials from relevant government structures, representatives of entrepreneurial associations, and businessmen from various sectors.

During their speeches, Mr. Tahir Mirkishili, Member of the National Assembly, Mr. Sahib Mamedov, Deputy Minister of Economy, Mr. Anar Aliev, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Mr. Mammad Abbasbayli, Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, Mr. Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of KOBİA's Management Board, Mr.Osman Khalilov, Chairman of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, Mr. Farid Hidayatzade, Board Member of Kapital Bank, and Mr. Turan Mustafayev, Chairman of the Public Association "National Association of Businessmen" and Marsol Group, shared their views on the development of entrepreneurship in our country, measures to support the private sector, opportunities for exporting local products, the importance of exhibitions in promoting products and services, and enabling businesses to access the new markets. It should be noted that the "Fair for Promoting Domestic Companies" has been held since 2019.

The main goal of the exhibition is to popularize the activities of Azerbaijani companies among the general public, to open up new sales markets for them, to expand sales opportunities, and to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between companies. This year, the exhibition features products and services from over 150 domestic companies operating in food, ICT, education, construction, industrial, logistics, textile, and other sectors, including several new brands. The exhibition that is to last until June 26 also aims to facilitate new partnerships between businessmen, entrepreneurs, and supplier companies.

The Entrepreneurship Development Fund, State Employment Agency, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, National Association of Businessmen, “Kapital Bank” CJSC, and other state and private organizations are partners of the exhibition. This time, KOBİA is also represented with a separate stand supporting SMBs in the exhibition free of charge.

The stand showcases agricultural, ICT, educational, service, textile, souvenir, ceramic, industrial, and other products and services. Conditions have been created to present products and services from 10 SMBs operating in these areas.
