A contest for innovative solutions will be initiated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s (UNIDO) Investment and Technology Promotion Network.

The initiative implemented as part of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) in partnership with “Future Cleantech Architects” is aimed at identifying innovative technologies from the private sector in “cleantech” and sustainable land management.

The contest will be open to micro, small, and medium businesses, and startups.

The deadline for accepting applications is August 2, 2021.
