On April 26, an online meeting was held to study the needs of farmers engaged in agriculture. The online event, arranged by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) within the framework of the Public-Private Partnership platform, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, OJSC Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Farm, the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency (ACDA), the Agrarian Insurance Fund, and the Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy, and about 30 business entities.
At the online meeting, the issues of irrigation of cultivated areas, entrepreneurs’ questions about obtaining soft loans, drilling artesian wells, and providing subsidies were discussed, and a presentation was made on the protection of agricultural products from risks, provided by the Agrarian Insurance Fund.
