
Training visits of participants of the “Youth Business Workshop” project implemented by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) under the Ministry of Economy, the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population and the State Agency on Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education have started.
The last year students of Jalilabad State Vocational Training Center visited Masalli Industrial District in order to form their initial business idea and production experience.
Students were informed about the activities of the industrial district, where they got acquainted with the production process.
During the visit, students were also informed about the support and services provided to entrepreneurs by a SME friend of KOBİA operating in the Masalli Industrial District .
It should be noted that the purpose of the "Youth Business Workshop" project is to develop business skills and promote entrepreneurship among young people receiving vocational training, ensure self-employment, increase the number of young people with vocational training among micro and small entrepreneurs, support new business initiatives, increase interest in vocational education.
The project, which covers 2021-2023, is currently being implemented in Jalilabad and Agdam regions. The project will soon be launched in the Gabala region. The project covers such areas as tailoring, plant and animal husbandry, carpet weaving, agro-technical services, carpenter, locksmith, cook, confectioner, tourism and welder. Within the framework of the project, the State Agency on Vocational Education selects and educates last-year students receiving vocational education and interested in entrepreneurship. Then, young people are involved in business trainings by KOBİA, they are provided with mentoring support, training and internship visits to business enterprises are organized. Young people who successfully complete three months of business and vocational training will be provided with appropriate equipment by the State Employment Agency in their chosen field of activity.
