Awareness Event Held on the ISO 14001 “Environmental Management System Requirements” Certification

An awareness event on the ISO 14001 “Environmental Management System Requirements” certification was held for entrepreneurs with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA).

The event, conducted in an online format, brought together nearly 30 business entities and representatives of relevant institutions.

During the session, participants were informed about the significance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems in enhancing environmental performance through efficient resource use and waste reduction, as well as in gaining competitive advantages and building trust with stakeholders. The certification process was also discussed in detail, and participants' questions were addressed.

It should be noted that the awareness event was held within the framework of the 2025 Action Plan of the “Corporate Governance, Investment, and Corporate Social Responsibility” working group under the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings.
