Azerbaijan and Qatar establish Joint Business Council

An Agreement on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business Council was signed in Qatar between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA Orkhan Mammadov and the member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Bin Abdullatif Al Mesned.


The Azerbaijan-Qatar Business Council will be a platform where the general situation and future directions of bilateral economic and trade cooperation between our countries will be discussed and relations between entrepreneurs will be promoted.


The Business Council will support the initiatives of entrepreneurs for the further development of bilateral trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar, and help establish direct relations between businesses, including SMEs. Mutual visits, meetings, joint seminars and round tables of entrepreneurs will be organized, commercial, trade, economic, scientific, technological and other information useful for the development of economic relations will be exchanged. Support will be provided for the establishment and operation of joint enterprises and other forms of cooperation.
