Azerbaijan Trade Forum took place

The forum focused on trade and investment opportunities, strategies to accelerate Azerbaijan’s integration into global markets, increasing the share of SMBs in exports, and exploring perspectives for trade cooperation.

Azerbaijan Trade Forum took place by the virtue of joint organization of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Association of Customs Representatives and Logistics Companies of Azerbaijan and supported by “PAŞA Holding”.

The forum dedicated to "Opportunities, current situation, and challenges for SMBs and attended by officials and representatives from companies involved in import-export, production, logistics, and customs representation was focused on discussions related to the current state  of the affairs and opportunities in import-export operations, boosting the export share of SMBs, and enhancing trade collaboration.

Bahruz Guliyev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee; Orhan Mammadov, Chairman of the KOBİA Management Board; Zohrab Gadirov, Deputy Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO); and Ziya Hajili, Advisor to the President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan, delivered speeches at the forum, exchanging views on opportunities for entrepreneurship, state support tools and incentives, the current status of local product exports, innovations in this field, and the position and potential of SMBs in both import and export sectors. Additionally, event saw highlights of diverse perspective initiatives  to  be organized within the framework of the Azerbaijan Trade Forum to support SMB development in trade and logistics, ensuring ongoing dialogue between the state and businesses.  

The forum is set to be annually held in the upcoming years. Within the framework of event, a panel discussion was conducted to explore new trade and investment opportunities, as well as ways to accelerate Azerbaijan's integration into global markets, and entrepreneurs' questions were addressed.
