Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan business forum held

At the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan business forum, opportunities for expanding ties between business circles of the two countries were discussed.

 

Baku hosted Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan business forum. Officials of both countries and businesspersons operating in various sectors of the economy attended the event.

 

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) Orkhan Mammadov delivered information about the line of business  of the Agency, support provided by KOBİA for the implementation of joint projects with the engagement of local and foreign businesspersons, and shared his views on the opportunities for expanding ties between the business circles of both countries. It was highlighted that KOBİA cooperates with the relevant agencies of Uzbekistan to further broaden the relations between business persons and achieve joint initiatives in close conjuction with  SMBs. The documents signed between the Agency and Uzbekistan's various agencies regarding business activities include such areas as development of cooperation between businesspersons, organization of joint events, and exchange of information and experience. Recognizing the Agency`s positive cooperation record in supporting international businesspersons in the field of business establishment in our country, Chairman of KOBİA invited entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan to benefit from the business and investment opportunities in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. 

 

B2B meetings were held as a follow-up to the event.
