Azerbaijani businessmen are visiting Jordan organized by KOBİA

Azerbaijani businessmen are on a working visit to Amman, the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.


The purpose of the visit, organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), is to expand contacts between Azerbaijani and Jordanian businessmen and relevant agencies, discuss opportunities for joint business and investment projects, development of trade relations and prospects for access to the Jordanian market.


The delegation includes representatives of relevant agencies and business associations supporting business in our country, as well as businessmen operating in the agricultural, food, tourism, health, education sectors and engaged in import and export operations.


During his visit to Jordan, on April 17, KOBİA Chairman of the Board Orkhan Mammadov met with Jordan's Minister of Investment Khairy Amr.

Giving information about the visit program of KOBİA and the delegation of Azerbaijani businessmen, Orkhan Mammadov stressed that the development of cooperation between our countries in the field of trade and investment is one of the important directions of the program. It was noted that the Agency is ready to support joint cooperation platforms for the exchange of information on business and investment initiatives, the organization of a business mission of Jordanian businessmen to Azerbaijan and their participation in exhibitions in our country. KOBİA is also interested in cooperating with relevant Jordanian agencies in exchanging potential investment projects and considering the possibility of establishing joint ventures.


Jordan's Minister of Investment Khairy Amr expressed satisfaction with the visit of a delegation of Azerbaijani business support organizations and businessmen to the country and shared his views on cooperation opportunities.
