Blood Donation Campaign

Under the slogan "One drop of blood – life for thousands of hopes," entrepreneurs and company employees ehthusiasticly participated in the blood donation campaign.

A voluntary blood donation campaign took place jointly organized by the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (KOBİA) and the National Association of Businessmen's Society (NABS), in partnership with "Marsol Group", Melhem International Hospital, the National Center for Hematology and Transfusiology, and the Central Blood Bank.

In honor of Memorial Day on September 27, the blood donation initiative under the motto "A single drop of blood – a lifeline for countless aspirations" was executed across three sites: "the Baku SMB House", "Melhem International Hospital", and the Central Blood Bank.

Entrepreneurs, corporate staff, and representatives from KOBİA, NABS, and "Marsol Group", who participated as part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives, donated blood throughout the day, with approximately 500 contributors. Hematologist physicians assessed each donor's health before, and after a thorough medical examination, blood was taken from them. The gathered blood will aid in the treatment of patients suffering from hemophilia and thalassemia, along with others in desperate need of blood. Similar charitable initiatives involving entrepreneurs are expected to be carried out in the future.
