On November 22, the chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov met with one of the “Ascent” competition winners Elchin Mirzazada within the framework of the mentorship program.
During the meeting, the SMBDA chairman expressed confidence that the mentorship program would be useful for the competition winners and this cooperation would serve to develop the existing potential of the winners, improve their knowledge and skills in target areas. It was noted that the experience gained by the competition winners within the framework of the mentorship program would also be important for the areas in which they would work.
E. Mirzazade expressed his desire to acquire new skills and noted that the mentorship program would be effective in this regard.
Note that the "Ascent" competition was founded by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated July 26, 2019, to identify and support highly intellectual, promising leaders with managerial skills and create a bank of human resources in the country. The chairman of the SMBDA Board Orkhan Mammadov is also one of the executive heads of the “Ascent” competition. According to the competition terms, the winner passes an annual internship with the executive head within the framework of the mentorship program.
