Competition on financing of Education, Science, Research, and Support projects announced 09.02.21

Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) announces a competition on financing Education, Science, Research, and Support projects in accordance with the "Guidelines for financing Education, Science, Research, and Support projects on the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on September 30, 2020.

Terms:

- Legal and physical entities belonging to micro, small and medium enterprises can participate in the competition;

- One person can submit only 1 project for the competition;

- Implementation period for projects shall be at least 3 and not more than 12 months;

- Fully funded, ongoing or completed projects by other agencies may not be financed additionally or re-financed by the Agency.

The amount of funds allocated: The maximum amount of financing for each project is 20 000 (twenty thousand) AZN.

Application Period: February 17 - March 18, 2021.

Competition dates: March 19 - April 19, 2021.

SMBs willing to participate in the competition are free to submit their electronic applications (info@smb.gov.az) or hard-copy applications directly to the Agency (AZ1069, Baku, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Avenue, 134) together with the below documents by March 17, 2021:

Copies of documents certifying the identity and authority of a physical entity or a representative of a legal entity that is a SMB;

The results of the competition will be posted on the official website of SMBDA www.smb.gov.az after April 19, 2021.
