The 6th meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade-Economic Relations and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Romania was held in Baku on June 23.


Among other issues, the meeting discussed the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of SMEs.


Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) Orkhan Mammadov noted the potential for developing cooperation between our countries in the field of SMEs, that the agency is ready to share its positive experience with SME houses and SME development centers with Romania. It was stressed that there is a need to strengthen the partnership between the business networks of the two countries, and mutual visits will be useful in this regard. Work can also be done to create a joint business platform for cooperation between SMEs. This will allow for closer and more direct contacts between businesses in both countries.
