An educational initiative has been started to teach businesspeople from the capital and the regions on how to access financial resources, governmental assistance mechanisms in this field, such as concessional loans and subsidies, as well as to strengthen commercial ties between businessmen from the capital and regions. For this purpose, with the joint organization of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and Marsol LLC, the partnership of the State Employment Agency and Kapital Bank, and the support of the Maricel Astara Resort hotel the "Development of Regional Partners" project was launched.

On December 9, Sheki hosted a conference dedicated to the presentation of the "Development of regional partners" project. Representatives of relevant state agencies, more than 200 entrepreneurs from Baku city and Sheki-Zagatala economic region attended the event.

By bringing together Baku and regional entrepreneurs, the conference created an opportunity for networking and joint investment initiatives among them.
