The Memorandum of Understanding signed between KOBİA and the Innovation Agency Lithuania within the scope of the Lithuanian-Azerbaijani business forum held in Vilnius provides for the exchange of information and experience in the field of service to entrepreneurs, and the organization of joint events to strengthen cooperation between SMB entities.

Lithuanian-Azerbaijani business forum was held in Vilnius with the attendance of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Lithuania Mr. Gitanas Nauseda.

Apart from state officials, representatives of companies engaged in the fields of industry, finance, construction, agriculture, tourism, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and ICT took part in the event jointly organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, the "LitFOOD" Export Promotion Agency and the Innovation Agency Lithuania.

Delivering a presentation at the forum, Orkhan Mammadov, the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), highlighted the activities of the Agency, the support and services provided to SMBs in our country, as well as the opportunities for cooperation between the SMBs of Azerbaijan and Lithuania.

As part of the event, a number of documents were signed, including a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between KOBİA and the Innovation Agency Lithuania. The document was signed between Orkhan Mammadov the Chairman of the Board of KOBİA and Indre Balciunaite, the representative of the Innovation Agency Lithuania. The memorandum stipulates mutual exchange of information on various events between small and medium business entities of both countries and exchange of experience in the field of providing services to SMBs, organizing joint events to strengthen cooperation between SMBs, etc.
