Draft Technical Regulations on Low-Voltage Electrical Installations and Equipment and Electromagnetic Compatibility of Technical Devices to Be Submitted for Public Hearing and Discussion 19.11.25

We invite all interested stakeholders to actively participate in the discussion of the draft technical regulations and to submit their opinions and proposals.

With the joint organization of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), a public hearing and discussion of the draft technical regulations prepared by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan - “On the Safety of Low-Voltage Electrical Installations and Equipment” - and the draft technical regulation prepared by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan - “On the Electromagnetic Compatibility of Technical Devices” - will be held on 21 November 2025 at 11:00, at the Baku SME House.

Entrepreneurs, civil society institutions, consumers, and interested stakeholders from relevant government bodies may join the meeting online via the link http://bit.ly/43DZuhP and participate in the discussions.

The discussions will be conducted in accordance with legislation, with the aim of collecting feedback and proposals on the draft technical regulations, encouraging active participation of stakeholders in the preparation of these regulations, and communicating to the wider public the requirements set forth in the technical regulations and the positive outcomes of their implementation.

During the public hearings, the opinions, comments, and proposals submitted regarding the draft regulations will be analyzed in line with the requirements of the legislation. It is planned that-following coordination with the relevant authorities-the finalized drafts will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan for approval.
