Stakeholders may review the draft technical regulations posted on the official website of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control and submit their opinions and proposals.
Jointly organized by the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), a public hearing and discussion of the draft technical regulations prepared by the Ministry of Energy - “On the Requirements for Motor and Aviation Gasoline, Diesel, Marine and Jet Fuels, and Fuel Oil,” “On the Requirements for Liquefied Hydrocarbon Gases Used as Fuel,” “On the Safety of Gas-Fired Equipment,” as well as the draft technical regulation “On the Safety of Natural Combustible Gas Intended for Transport and/or Use” prepared by the Ministry of Emergency Situations - will be held on 31 October 2025 at 11:00, at the “Baku SME House”.
Entrepreneurs, civil society institutions, consumers, and other interested parties from relevant government bodies may join the meeting online via the link: https://bit.ly/47iLU4k and participate in the discussions.
The discussions will be held in accordance with the legislation for the purpose of obtaining opinions and proposals on the draft technical regulations, encouraging active stakeholder participation in the preparation of these regulations, and ensuring that the requirements stipulated by the technical regulations and their positive impacts are widely communicated to the public.
During the public hearings, the opinions, comments, and proposals submitted by interested parties regarding the draft will be analyzed in accordance with legislative requirements and, following agreement with the relevant authorities, are planned to be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval.
