Draft Technical Regulations on the Safety of Products Intended for Children and Minors to Be Released for Public Discussion

Interested parties may review the draft technical regulations titled “On the Safety of Equipment for Children’s Playgrounds,” “On the Safety of Toys,” and “On the Safety of Products Intended for Children and Minors”, which have been published on the official website of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and may submit their opinions and suggestions regarding these documents.

In cooperation with the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a public hearing and discussion of the above-mentioned draft technical regulations will be held on 30 September 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Baku SME House.

Representatives of civil society institutions, business entities, consumers, and relevant state bodies interested in the subject matter may also join the meeting online and participate in the discussions via the following link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85737355196?pwd=fappBDMWwPqubsDYw39cDVKPSQIakE.1 The discussions will be conducted in accordance with the legislation, with the objectives of gathering opinions and suggestions on the draft technical regulations, encouraging active participation of stakeholders in the development process, and informing the general public about the requirements set forth in these regulations and the positive outcomes expected from their implementation. During the public hearings, the opinions, objections, and proposals submitted by interested parties regarding the drafts will be analyzed in compliance with legislative requirements and, following coordination with the relevant authorities, will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan for approval.
