E-commerce trainings held for SMBs 14.06.23

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is conducting 6-day (three hours each day) online e-commerce training for small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The project is jointly funded by the European Union and the EBRD.

The training aims to advance the entrepreneurs` knowledge and skills on cross-border e-commerce transactions. The training is held for small and medium businesses seeking to sell their products to global markets such as the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, etc.

The training will be delivered by "Lenta Coniwi Enterprise Danismanlik AS" as part of close cooperation with EBRD's Small Business Finance and Development Group.

Event attendees will be provided with information in the following areas:

• Basic knowledge of e-export and sales requirements in online markets

• Analysing target markets, competitors, profitability and developing financial plans

• Information about the process of registration of Value Added Tax (VAT).

• Knowledge of online payment systems

• Gaining experience in the processes of starting companies abroad, advantages and comparisons

• Creating a product portfolio for preferred market places and selecting appropriate photos
