Entrepreneurs were informed of international export requirements

On December 20, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) arranged a webinar on the topic “Competitive advantages of GS1 standards and increasing the export potential of SMBs” for entrepreneurs engaged in export.

 

At the event, the head of the SMBDA’s Department for work with regional projects and monitoring Eldaniz Amirov, representative of “GS 1 Azerbaijan” LLC Gulnara Rasulova, and the head of the Center for Export Support on the “Single Window” Principle Nijat Hajizada informed the participants of the world market’s technical requirements for imported products – coding the global trade item number (GTIN), global location number (GLN), and serial shipping container code (SSCC), as well as the procedure for their acquisition, and answered their questions.

 

The webinar with the participation of about 80 exporting entrepreneurs was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the ministry’s State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision over the Consumer Market, AZPROMO, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food Safety Agency.
