It was underlined at the event that the foundation of women's civic activism in Azerbaijan was laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev, and this policy is successfully   pursued under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. The efforts made by Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, are of substantial importance in the progress and the achievements advanced in our country, introducing our national and moral values and culture to the world. Women are now successfully operating in all areas of society, as well as in KOBİA. The activities of women in the field of entrepreneurship are also expanding.
