Event on the combat against corruption held 16.03.23

The actors of the event were provided with information on "ISO 37001:2016 anti-corruption management system" at the event held with the engagement of state institutions and representatives of the private sector, and a discussion was held on this matter.

An event on "ISO 37001:2016 anti-corruption management system" was held at Baku SMB House. The event was organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), "SGS Azerbaijan" operating in the field of inspection and certification in our country, Azerbaijan Standardization Institute and "Caspian Energy Club" system".

The event held with the engagement of relevant state institutions and entrepreneurs aimed to inform the stakeholders on the avenues of enforcement of the international standard "ISO 37001:2016" in the field of anti-corruption and the certification process.

Speaking at the event, Nazim Rajabov, Deputy Persecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Director of the Anti-Corruption General Directorate with the Persecutor General, Mammad Abbasbeyli, Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, Mammad Musayev, President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan, and Elvin Balajanov, member of the Public Council under KOBİA, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Cybersecurity Organization Public Union imparted information respectively on the measures taken to combat and prevent corruption in our country, digitalization of services provided by state institutions to citizens, as well as entrepreneurs, effective management against corruption risks, implementation of the international standard "ISO 37001:2016".

Kamala Mammadzade, Deputy General Director of the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute, Asif Amirsultanov, chief auditor of “SGS Azerbaijan” and Nigar Aliyeva, head of the company`s department respectively made presentation about “Perspectives for the implementation of AZS ISO 37001 standard in Azerbaijan”, “Basic requirements and practical application of ISO 37001:2016 standard” and “ISO 37001:2016 certification process” and addressed the questions from event actors.
