Exchange of views on alternative financing opportunities for SMBs 27.07.20

Chairman of the Management Board to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Okhan Mammadov, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia Dato Yubazlan Bin Yusuf held an online meeting.

During the meeting, the parties discussed state support measures for small and medium-sized enterprises in our country during the pandemic, the challenges faced by SMBs in the current environment, the needs of business associations, the improvement of access to finance and the activities of SMBs in this direction.

It was noted at the online meeting that many financial mechanisms for small and medium-sized businesses in Malaysia are working effectively. The parties exchanged views on the possibility of applying these mechanisms in our country, and agreed to take joint measures particularly in the field of alternative financing.
