The 6th “Promotional Exhibition of Local Companies” is one of the largest platforms for the presentation of domestic products and services.
The 6th “Promotional Exhibition of Local Companies” has officially opened at the Baku Expo Center. Organized jointly by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and Marsol Group, the exhibition features the products and services of nearly 300 local companies.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials of relevant government bodies, representatives of business associations, and entrepreneurs operating across various sectors.
Speakers at the event included Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Alakbarov, Chairman of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Baghirov, Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov, Board Member of “Kapital Bank” OJSC Farid Hidayatzada, as well as Tural Mustafayev, Chairman of the Board of the “National Association of Businessmen” Public Union and Marsol Group. They shared their views on the development of entrepreneurship in the country, support for the private sector, boosting the export potential of domestic products, and the important role such exhibitions play in promoting the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand.
As in previous years, KOBIA has supported the free participation of micro and small business entities in this year’s exhibition. A dedicated booth has been set up to showcase the products and services of 10 business entities operating in sectors such as industry, textiles, food, services, construction, handicrafts, perfumery, and others.
It should be noted that the exhibition will run until June 21. For the past six years, the “Promotional Exhibition of Local Companies” has served as one of the most prominent platforms for introducing domestic products and services. The primary aim is to promote the offerings of local companies—particularly newly launched brands—to the broader public, expand access to foreign markets, and foster mutually beneficial cooperation among business entities. Companies engaged in food, ICT, education, construction, industry, agriculture, logistics, textiles, and other sectors are participating in the event. Unlike in previous years, this year’s exhibition features a greater number of companies. Preference has been given to companies showcasing technological innovations, new brands, and those supporting environmentally friendly and sustainable production.
For the first time within the exhibition, B2B-format meetings are being arranged between micro and small entrepreneurs and executives of large companies with the aim of strengthening their cooperation and enhancing the participation of small enterprises in major supply chains.
With official partnership from “Kapital Bank,” this year’s exhibition also includes partners such as the he State Employment Agency, the Azerbaijan State Advertising Agency, and the National Association of Businessmen’s Societies (ICMA).
Free shuttle buses are available for exhibitors and visitors in both directions between June 18–21, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, departing from the “Koroghlu” metro station (exit near “Alov” Park on Heydar Aliyev Avenue).
