Number of SMEs Granted “Startup” Certificates Reaches 210

At the latest meeting of the Expert Council established under the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) for issuing “Startup” certificates, seven applications submitted by SMEs were reviewed. As a result, four SMEs were granted “Startup” certificates. With this decision, the total number of SMEs awarded the certificate has reached 210.

“Startup” certificates were issued for the projects including, "Smart Soft and Services" LLC for its automated customer communication and marketing solutions platform integrated with WhatsApp, "Simic App" LLC for its AI-based platform tailored to businesses, "Mediatrends" LLC for its AI-driven media monitoring and analytics system, and "Builders and Realtors Unity" LLC for its international supply and networking platform.

The “Startup” certificate exempts certified SMEs from profit and income taxes on revenues derived from innovation activities for a period of three years, starting from the date the certificate is granted.

Micro and small business entities with projects in the development phase are eligible to apply for the “Startup” certificate through KOBIA.
