Halal Business and Tourism Forum to be held in Azerbaijan

As part of the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA), a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on holding the Azerbaijan Halal Business and Tourism Forum in our country.


The document was signed by Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), Fuad Nagiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Marat Kabayev, President of the International Association of Islamic Business, Yousef Khalawi, Secretary General of ICCIA, and Bahruz Hidayatzade, Executive Director of Caspian Event Organizers LLC. The MoU regulates joint activity on issues regarding the organization of the Azerbaijan Halal Business and Tourism Forum in 2024, mutual cooperation on the implementation of joint projects.


It is worth noting that the forum aims to promote further expansion of cooperation between the private sector within the scope of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Forum partners include "Eurasiya Development", MUSIAD Azerbaijan and Public Union of Businessmen and Industrialists of Türkiye and Azerbaijan (TUIB).
