Meat and meat products of local companies are exhibited at the Halal Expo.


The World Halal Summit is being held in the city of Istanbul, Türkiye. At the Halal Expo event organized as part of the event, the products of Azerbaijan's halal food companies are also exhibited with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). Meat and meat products of 4 companies are displayed at our stand.


As part of the visit to Istanbul, the KOBİA delegation also attended the World Halal Summit on the topic "Paving the way to the global halal economy: exploring the potential". At the event, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA pointed out to the fact that SMBs are the driving force of the halal food and service sector, informed about the support and services provided by the Agency to SMBs, as well as the Azerbaijan Halal Business and Tourism Forum, which is expected to be held in Baku in 2024 under the organization of KOBİA. It was highlighted that KOBİA is represented by the country stand at the Halal Summit, which is conducted on a regular basis in Tatarstan. This allows Azerbaijani SMBs in the halal industry to promote their products and build business ties with their colleagues from other countries. An exhibition of halal products will be organized as part of the Forum to be held in Baku next year.
