How does KOBIA support entrepreneurs’ access to finance? 10.02.26

Although the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) does not provide direct financial and credit support to businesses, it provides a number of supports to entrepreneurs to access finance. The agency informs entrepreneurs about state's preferential loans and alternative financial instruments. In this regard, it provides advisory services on application procedures and necessary documents, and connects entrepreneurs with banks and other financial institutions. KOBIA also assists entrepreneurs in preparing a business plan necessary for a bank loan. At the same time, KOBIA provides grant support of up to 20 thousand manats to entrepreneurs' projects in the areas of education, science, research and support within the framework of grant competitions.
