Incubators commissioned in Goranboy and Tartar to foster the development of micro-entrepreneurship

Incubators have been commissioned in Khoylu village of Goranboy and Garaagaji village of Tartar region.

Commissioned within the framework of the SEDA Project implemented jointly by the Government of Azerbaijan and USAID, the incubators will play an important role in the development of entrepreneurship in Goranboy and Tartar regions as they will serve over 11 thousand inhabitants of 10 villages.

For his purpose, with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) an event was held in Khoylu and Garaagaji villages participated by representatives of regional executive authorities, SMBDA, USAID as well as the village inhabitants.

Alongside with the incubators’ commissioning, the village inhabitants intend to expand their poultry farming as the project will save the time and cost by making it unnecessary for them to reach the neighboring regions’ incubators by traveling long distances. The incubator’s activity will make an important contribution to the development of microentrepreneurship and provision of employment among the inhabitants of Tartar and Goranboy regions.

Yet another incubator was commissioned in the village Dallyar-Jair of Shamkir region yesterday.
