Innovation and Startup Competition is announced for startups!

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) under the Ministry of Economy and the Islamic Development Bank Group jointly announce an Innovation and Startup Competition for startups.

The competition aims to support startups with high potential from member countries of the Islamic Development Bank Group to demonstrate their innovative ideas, establish connections with global investors, and expand opportunities for access to international markets.

The deadline for joining the competition is 15 May. 

Stages of the competition:

- Global open call. Startups (innovation, business model, team, impact) apply through the official platform until 15 May. 

- Selection and evaluation. Experts from venture capital firms, financial development institutions and corporations evaluate applications until 17 May. 

- Mentorship and intensive training programme (“Bootcamp”). Selected startups participate in training on fundraising, financial modelling and pitching on 13–15 June. 

- Investor pitching and semi-finals. Startups present to the international jury and establish connections with investors on 16–17 June. 

Prizes and opportunities of the competition:

- Monetary award  

- Certificates and recognition plaques 

- Exhibition package of the Islamic Development Bank Group Private Sector Forum (PSF) 

- Opportunity to participate in international exhibitions
