Institutions with a high number of services in Baku SMB House

Nearly 232,000 services provided to entrepreneurs in Baku SMB House in January-October 2023 were provided by five state institutions.


In January-October of 2023, entrepreneurs applied to Baku SMB House mostly for 204520 services of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The second place is occupied by the State Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control Service under the Ministry of Economy with 17,947 services, the third place is held by the State Tax Service with 5,074 services, while the fourth and fifth places are occupied by the State Customs Committee with 2,912 services, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations with 1,154 services respectively. Entrepreneurs applied to the aforementioned institutions on the acquisition of permits, certificates of origin and other required documents for business activities, as well as tax and customs issues.


In all, 248,262 services were provided to entrepreneurs by state and private institutions in Baku SMB House. State institutions provided 233,735 (94.15%) of these services, while 14,527 (5.85%) were offered by private institutions.


It should be pointed out that in Baku SMB House over 300 “G2B” services are provided to entrepreneurs by 35 state institutions and over 80 "B2B" services are provided by 15 private institutions. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply to Baku SMB House for services such as business registration, licenses and permits, certificate of origin and other required documents for business activities, connection to public utilities, tax, customs, food safety, subsidies for the agricultural sector, banking, insurance, transportation, notary, etc.
