Intellectual Property Agency services at "Baku SMB House" 16.02.23

The Intellectual Property Agency renders consulting services to applicants on the registration of inventions, utility models, industrial samples, trademarks, geographic indications, and author's works at "Baku SMB House".

Besides, applicants to the SMB house are given advice on placing their claim documents on patent acquisition, registration of trademarks and geographical indications into the Open Target to Patents and Trademarks (OTPT) system operating at the Intellectual Property Agency, and help to upload their documents to this system if necessary.

It is worth highlighting that "Baku SMB House" is a single space where various services on business are rendered to entrepreneurs by state and private institutions. At present, more than 250 services are rendered to entrepreneurs by about 50 state and private institutions at the SMB House. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply to "Baku SMB House" for business registration, tax issues, licenses, certificates of origin and food safety, permits for various activities, customs services, extract from the state register of property, agricultural subsidies, permission to place advertising in open space, public utilities, banking, insurance, leasing and other matters required for business activities.
