KOBİA also attends the Social Entrepreneurship Forum 13.10.23

At the Social Entrepreneurship Forum, information was also given on the development of social entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan and the support of KOBİA to the promotion of this field.

The Social Entrepreneurship Forum was held in the Baku Business Center with the attendance of relevant government agencies and businesspersons.

Speaking at the event, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), briefed the attendants on the activities of the Agency in promoting social entrepreneurship and the projects implemented in this field. It was highlighted that one of the factors affecting successful and sustainable economic development in these days is the support provided for social entrepreneurship. Taking into account the thriving role of entrepreneurship in the country's economy, social entrepreneurship is also on the rise. The "2022-2026 Socio-Economic Development Strategy" also includes issues inherent for social entrepreneurship. KOBİA also cooperates with local and international organizations, public associations to promote social entrepreneurship, implements various events and projects in collaboration with relevant government agencies and the private sector.

It is worth underlining that the forum was organized by "Education HUB" as part of the "Azerbaijan Value Days" series of events held on October 10-13. Within the scope of these events, on October 11, a corporate procurement exhibition of social entrepreneurs was held at "Baku SMB House" with the support of KOBİA.
