The activities, products and services of local entrepreneurs, as well as state support mechanisms, are presented to visitors at the stand.

Within the framework of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in the city of Baku, at the “Urban Expo” exhibition, products and services of entrepreneurs operating in the construction and urban development sector are presented, and visitors are informed about their activities.

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Azerbaijan Construction Producers Association are participating in the exhibition with a joint stand. The main objective is to present to the international community Azerbaijan’s achievements in the construction and urban development sectors, innovative approaches, and the potential of local entrepreneurs.

At the stand, products and services of local entrepreneurs operating in the construction and urban development sector are displayed, and information is also provided on state support mechanisms offered to entrepreneurs by KOBİA, as well as existing opportunities for the development of the construction business in the country. Companies present information on their areas of activity, production capacity, innovative products and services, implemented projects, and international cooperation opportunities, and also hold business meetings with stakeholders and exchange experience.

Within the framework of WUF13, at the “Urban Expo” exhibition presenting innovative approaches in urban development and housing provision, around 130 pavilions with the participation of 260 organizations and institutions from 82 countries are being showcased. In total, national pavilions representing 41 countries are displayed at the exhibition. The largest of them is the Azerbaijan pavilion, covering an area of 1,500 square meters.
