KOBİA and bp support the expansion of the involvement of SMBs in the supply chain of oil and gas companies 31.05.23

At the special stand for SMBs at the International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition will allow oil and gas companies to learn about the products and services of SMBs and hold cooperation meetings.

On May 31, the 28th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition ("Caspian Oil and Gas") opened at the Baku Expo Center.

With the joint support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and bp company, a special stand for SMBs was set up at the exhibition. It was mainly focused on establishing ties between local SMBs and oil and gas companies as part of the exhibition and contributing to the establishment of cooperation between the parties through holding meetings, expanding the role of SMBs in the supply chain of oil and gas companies. 10 companies operating in the oil waste recycling, construction, production of working clothes, supply of safety equipment, sale of cleaning products, industrial equipment and spare parts, repair of various equipment, preparation of metal structures, technical service, etc. present their products and services at the stand set up for SMBs.

Oil and gas companies that are interested in benefiting from the services and products provided by SMBs in the relevant areas, and to cooperate with SMBs in the supply chain, are encouraged to hold meetings with local SMBs and discuss cooperation opportunities by approaching the joint stand of KOBİA and bp.

It is worth noting that the "Caspian Oil and Gas" exhibition will be held until June 2. At the exhibition, the leading companies in the oil, gas and energy sector will present oil and gas equipment, oil and gas field development services, transportation of energy carriers, storage systems for oil and gas storage, petrochemical products, technical service, and innovative technologies in the fields of security and other products and services. As part of the exhibition, a panel discussion on "Opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in providing oil and gas companies" will be held at the Baku Expo Center on June 1 at 11:00 a.m.
