In the city of Khirdalan, a new confectionery producing company has begun operations. All types of confectionary products are ordered, prepared, cooked, and sold by the business.

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) provided state support for the establishment of the business. As a result, KOBİA offered consultation on setting up a business, getting an extract from AQTA, registering for taxes to get a TIN, and working with government organizations to create an employment contract for workers. Support and services were given in regards to corporate management, assuring attendance at HSE trainings, marketing strategies, and participation in trainings held by the Sumgayit SME Development Center.
