KOBİA met with entrepreneurs in Beylagan 03.10.23

The third SMB Friend office in the Mil-Mugan economic region and the 46th one in the country has started operating.

The number of SMB friends providing comprehensive on-site support for business establishment and development has reached 3 in the Mil-Mugan economic region. The third SMB Friend office has started operating in Beylagan district. Beylagan SMB Friend was introduced to the business community of the region with the attendance of representatives of state institutions providing services for business entities in the region and entrepreneurs at the event organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Executive Power of Beylagan District.

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, informed about the activities of the Agency and SMB friend mechanism. There are currently SMB friend offices in 46 cities and districts of the Republic. SMB friend will provide the necessary support within the scope of existing state support mechanisms and the services of the Agency to business entities seeking to start a business and expand their business activities in Beylagan and neighbouring areas. The SMB Friend will take appropriate measures aimed at establishing new business entities, protecting the legal interests of entrepreneurs and realizing their investment initiatives in the district. The Chairman of KOBİA invited micro, small and medium business entities to actively cooperate with the SMB friend.

Asif Aghayev, Head of the Executive Power of Beylagan District gave information about the work done in the field of entrepreneurship development in the district and noted that the activities of the SMB friend will be of great importance in the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship and in the establishment of new businesses in the district.

The challenges facing entrepreneurs and their proposals were heard, and mutual ideas were shared on business activities of the district at the event.

Films about the SMB Friend mechanism, support of KOBİA to micro and small entrepreneurs were demonstrated.

The participants learned about the conditions for providing support and services to entrepreneurs in the SMB friend office located in the Youth Center of Beylagan district.

Representatives of KOBİA got acquainted with the processes of drying, cleaning and storing cereals at "Karabagh Takhyl" LLC as part of the visit to Beylagan district, and shared mutual ideas with the entrepreneur on business needs. It worth highlighting that the enterprise has been operating since 2012. The enterprise has more than 200 permanent workers and the capacity to produce more than 20,000 tons of cereals per year.
