Meeting with entrepreneurs in Bilasuvar 01.08.23

The SMB Friends that has started operating in Bilasuvar will support the advancement of business, establishment of new SMBs, realization of investment initiatives of entrepreneurs and the protection of their interests in the district.

The activities of the SMB Friend network of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) further expands. The 3rd SMB Friend office in Shirvan-Salyan economic region started operating in Bilasuvar district.

At a meeting with entrepreneurs operating in the Shirvan-Salyan economic region organized by KOBİA and Bilasuvar District Executive Power, the SMB friend was introduced to the business community of the district.

Representatives of relevant state bodies operating in Bilasuvar district and entrepreneurs attended the meeting.

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, conveyed information on the activities of the Agency and SMB Friend mechanism. It was emphasized that SMB Friend offices are currently operating in 42 cities and districts across the country. SMB Friend will provide the necessary support within the scope of state support mechanisms, including the services of the Agency, to potential entrepreneurs and existing businesses seeking to start a business in Bilasuvar. SMB Friend will take appropriate measures in establishing new business entities in the SMB Friend district, the protection of the legal interests of entrepreneurs and the realization of their investment initiatives. The chairman of KOBİA invited micro, small and medium business entities to actively cooperate with the SMB Friend.

Faig Gurbatov, Head of Bilasuvar District Executive Power, pointed out to the work done towards entrepreneurship development in the district, and noted that the activities of the SMB Friend will be of great importance in the expansion of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship activities in the district, and in the establishment of new businesses.

Films about the SMB Friend mechanism, support provided by KOBİA to micro and small entrepreneurs were also displayed at the event, and questions of entrepreneurs were addressed.

Subsequently, the event participants familiarized themselves with the environment established for providing support and services to entrepreneurs in the SMB Friend office located in the Heydar Aliyev Center of Bilasuvar district.
