The products and manufacturing technologies of some 100 local companies are displayed at the "1st Local Manufacturing and Production Technologies Exhibition", which will last until December 9.


On December 8, a meeting was held with the attendance of the company representatives at the "1st Local Manufacturing and Production Technologies Exhibition" organized with the collaboration of the Ministry of Economy, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and "Marsol Group" at the Baku Sports Palace.


Speaking at the event, Rovnag Abdullayev, Deputy Minister of Economy, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman Board of KOBİA, Mustafa Abbasbeyli, Chairman of the Managing Board of the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency, Eldar Hamidov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Entrepreneurship Development Foundation, Tural Mustafayev, Chairman of the Board of the Public Union National Association of Businessmen's Society and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marsol Group, shared their insights on the measures taken in improving entrepreneurship in our country, support mechanisms and concessions, stimulating local production, promoting the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand.


Subsequently, the event participants got acquainted with the "1st Local Manufacturing and Production Technologies Exhibition".


It is worth highlighting that the exhibition features the products and manufacturing technologies of around 100 local companies operating in Baku and the country's regions. Products cover industry, agriculture, food, construction, ICT, furniture and other sectors. The exhibition aims to introduce local products to a larger consumer audience, inform buyers about the production technologies of local brands, establish and improve relations between buyers and sellers, and expand cooperation in exporting local products. The exhibition is supported by the National Association of Businessmen's Society Public Union, the State Employment Agency, the Entrepreneurship Development Foundation, and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan. To assist SMBs, the products of numerous entrepreneurs are presented at the special stand of KOBİA at the exhibition, as well as information is supplied about the support and services provided by the Agency to SMBs.


The exhibition also includes various competitions, presentations and "B2B" meetings. The exhibition will be on display until December 9.
