The event featured a discussion on advancing women in entrepreneurship and an information was provided on state support measures and projects aimed at starting and developing businesses.

The meeting with women entrepreneurs was organized by the Nakhchivan regional coordinator of the SMB friend department of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).

The meeting, which was represented by about 25 entrepreneurs, included representatives from KOBİA, the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry, the State Tax Service, the State Employment Agency, the executive authority of the city of Nakhchivan, the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs, the Association for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, and accredited lending agencies.

The meeting addressed issues related to stimulating women's entrepreneurial activities, state support measures, and ongoing projects in this field, private sector initiatives, as well as the participants were provided with information on access to financial resources and markets for women entrepreneurs, and mechanisms to support their participation in exhibitions.

Additionally, women entrepreneurs shared their success stories, offered suggestions, and their questions were addressed.
