The first meeting of the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijani Business Council took place in Baku during the visit of Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to our country.


Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and Kazakhstan's "QazTrade" Trade Policy Development Central Joint-Stock Company. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA Orkhan Mammadov and the General Director of "GazTrade" Trade Policy Development Center Joint Stock Company Azamat Asgaruli. The memorandum covered topics such as participation in joint events, information and experience sharing on trade-related concerns, and more.


The Chairman of the Management Board of KOBİA, Orkhan Mammadov, spoke at the Business Council meeting and emphasized the importance of businesspeople in fostering trade ties between our countries. He stressed the significance of the Business Council in fostering more direct ties between businesspeople in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and in carrying out collaborative projects. Orkhan Mammadov also shared information on the support and services that KOBİA offers to business owners.
